After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on Sunday the monopoly of a curved screen phone was taken away from the Samsung Note Edge and trust me it was snatched away hard from the Note. Apart from the dual curved edges and the all metal and glass body on the S6 Edge there is a lot that seperates these phones.

Design:

The Samsung Galaxy S6 outcasts it's predecessor in every aspect in matters of build quality and design. It's seamlessly designed metal and and glass body and the dual curved edges is more aesthetically designed for looks as well as functionality.

The front facing cams are different. The Note Edge has a 3.7MP front snapper compared to the 5MP snapper in the S6 Edge.

Hardware & Opertating System:

Both the device vary vividly in this segment and the S6 Edge emerges to the clear winner. Here's why!

The Note Edge runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 which is a Quad core, 2700MHz, Krait 450 system chip coupled with the 3GB LPDDDR3 RAM. The device's graphics are handled by an Adreno 420. It has a built in storage of 32GB and is upgradable by external expansion slot.

The Galaxy S6 Edge runs on a Samsung Exynos true octacore processor clocked at 2100MHz with ARM Cortex-A53 and ARM Cortex-A57, 64-bit. This device also features 3GB of RAM but it's graphics handler is the ARM MAli T760. The built in storage on the S6 edge is a minimum of 32GB as there is no expansion slot but a 128GB memory variant is also available.

The Note Edge runs on an Android KitKat 4.4 and had an upgrade option to the Lollipop. The S6 Edge on the other hand is a device running on Lollipop.

Battery:

The Note Edge has a 3000mAh battery which is a beast and keeps the phone running for long. On the other hand the S6 Edge runs on a 2600mAh battery. The added advantage on the S6 Edge is that it is enables with wireless charging. So no more hassle with cables.
